Ancients 

 

The founders of Elpis & Dyscrasia. Just outside Elpis in a gated community the great minds of  University Faculty and some others such as a retired US Army Generals and Intellectuals gathered.  They took the books from the Elpis Library as well as the University,  saving that knowledge for later use.  The Ancients used what they knew to form a small community and set plans in motion to return to Elpis when possible and restore it.  Scientists,  Doctors,  Historians, and Biologists are among the Ancients and they strive not only to restore Elpis,  but also to figure out what happened during the Tilt. This is the current governing faction in Elpis. Sometimes called the Builders by outsiders who think they built the city of Elpis as it currently stands.
