Earth worshippers. The remnants of hippies and others who already lived off the grid. They have a very free love attitude towards the world but learned quickly to be armed and dangerous. Primary drug producers. They produce drugs to experience
the world around them more strongly and to spread their particular influence into others, hoarding and controlling their 'product' as a result. Could be a source of combat drugs later. The purpose of selling drugs? Every primitive society trades in drugs. This could even be as simple as coffee, in some cases, or tobacco.
