Elpis - Overview
General Information
Location: Elpis resides somewhere in the Northwestern United States (as it was once known)
Clothing: As this is Second Life we, of course, have limits as to what we can wear. Worn out urban clothing, or rustic appearing clothing is suggested. Military style as well, but again, signs of wear. Brand new looking clothing is out of place on our sim, as even if it was created post-tilt, it would be of the homespun variety.

Currency: There is no stable unit of trade, only barter.
Weapons: Gunpowder no longer works post tilt, as well as other explosive materials such as TNT. Examples of weapons that can be used are bows, crossbows, machetes, clubs, rustic swords and spears. Ornate weapons such as jeweled swords etc would be out of place on our sim. Your weapons should appear as if they were made post-tilt, and thus nothing you would expect from modern refined weapons, even of the melee variety.
Geography:
The Republic of the North: Majority of the Northern USA and Canada falls under them with the people resolving back. Most of the Coastal areas along the southern states to eastern and western states are declared death zones.
NPC Regions
Ravens: Southwest Desert USA West of the Rocky’
Republic of Wells: Regions past Michigan and the great lakes. (Natural resources needed for our Forges)
Mid West: Wasteland and few heard the rumors of Emergency Zone (EZ) camps. (Believe some who survived still has the seeds for harvest)
Antagonist Religious Republic: Church of Order Upper North West (Their lands are fertile as the ice caps melts the much-needed grassland provides the herds to grow in numbers and provide the Wool needed to make clothing)
Ranchers Republic: Closer to the borders of Mexico. (Most of the food is grown in this region – Fruits, corn, fabrics and other primitive needs for a society)
Phenoix Empire: Beyond Elpis Confined between the California and Nevada region. Title happened on Jan 12th, 1990 and present year is 2040. There are three main posts for the rangers protecting the empire against intruders which are extremely rare to find small villages or communities but some do exist and are mostly landmark based.
